Formed in 1875, Marske Brass Band is a traditional brass band with a long and proud history in Marske by the Sea. For generations, the band has been part of community events, performances and celebrations across Marske, Saltburn and the wider Redcar area.

We are especially proud of our thriving training band, which encourages new players and supports musicians as they develop their skills. Players of all abilities are welcome, whether experienced performers or those completely new to brass music. By offering inclusive opportunities, our brass band continues to strengthen community spirit and local identity.

Marske Bowls Club is open daily from April to September and offers members a superb, well-kept green alongside a welcoming pavilion and community clubhouse atmosphere. Members can enjoy bowls purely for recreation, or join one of the league teams to compete against other clubs across Marske by the Sea, Redcar and the surrounding areas.

Formed in 1956, Marske Football Club is a central part of our community sports provision and remains a popular football club in Marske for players and supporters alike. The club offers men’s, ladies’ and walking football, alongside a thriving junior section for both girls and boys covering a wide range of age groups.

In 2026, our new play zone was completed and is now available to hire. This modern facility further strengthens our community clubhouse offering and provides additional space for training, activity sessions and wider community use.
